This wine walk starts in the morning from the Novigrad waterfront Porporela where participants register, pick up a tasting glass and vouchers, the map of the trail and receive all the instructions. The Wine & Walk route is 10 km long and at the wine & food points participants stop and taste the best wines of Novigrad winemakers paired with local seafood and meat specialties.
The adventure begins with a walk along the waterfront at the old port of Mandrač in the historic center of the city, where the first tasting station awaits you, near a wine cellar with a long tradition in winemaking. The walk continues along the path that leads to the upcoming tasting points initially by the sea, and then through the hinterland of Novigrad crossing vineyards, olive groves and other attractive natural locations.
The arrival to the finish line is in the center of Novigrad and it is scheduled in the late afternoon revealing another magical corner of the old town. All participants and other visitors may enjoy a gathering on the city square with more tastings of food and wine, music and a fair of local agricultural products and souvenirs.
