The Novigrad-Cittanova Association of Winemakers on the first Park Food Festival
The open-air wine and food event, which is held in the Park of Novigrad fishermen, next to the old port of Mandrač and in the port itself. The Park Food Fest event combines the concept of popular street food and show cooking of renowned restaurants and thus in just one day offers guests a variety of inventive dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. Although consumed casually on the streets, these delicacies are prepared and served as top rated restaurants dishes.
Just as the street food concept of gastronomy goes beyond the established culinary rules and principles, so does the Novigrad Park food festival where you can expect completely new, different and unique gastronomic experience, in the typical Mediterranean atmosphere.
Inventive and delicious dishes made by excellent chefs from Michelin rated restaurants are paired with top-quality white and red wines from winemakers in northwestern Istria, but also with excellent locally produced craft beers. To complete the experience, the Festival has its own musical backdrop from the afternoon to the early evening hours.
